What are the do's & dont's of taking nutrient support? We've got all the basics covered below:
1) Nutrient support and medication:
If you are currently taking medication, we recommend checking our product pages for any key contraindications.
It is also a good idea to consult with your healthcare professional if you are taking any prescription medications and wanting to try our BePure range.
We recommend taking nutrient support 2 hours before or 2 hours after any prescription medication to maximise absorption
2.) Nutrient support and cancer treatment:
If you are undergoing cancer treatment or have recently been diagnosed it is best to consult your Oncologist before trying our BePure range. Some nutrients can interfere with the process so careful monitoring is required by a qualified professional.
3.) Nutrient support and surgery:
If you are anticipating surgery or recently had a procedure we recommend ceasing use for 2x weeks before and 2 weeks prior. We also recommend consulting your medical professional.
4.) Starting BePure nutrient support for the first time:
If this is your first time taking our BePure range, we recommend following each products specific instructions and starting with half of the recommended dose for 1-2x weeks. You can then build up slowly to the full dose.
5.) How to maximise your nutrient support:
Each of our products have specific instructions on whether it is best on an empty stomach or with food. However to maximise absorption we recommend that you take your nutrient support away from drinks such as coffee, tea or alcohol.
5.) What is a detox reaction, what can I expect and what do I do if I experience one?
While eliminating toxins from the body can start a detox reaction, so too can adding beneficial nutrients.
The nutrients and herbs in our products, particularly BePure One, BePure Two and BePure EstroClear, targets liver function to support processing the toxins that have built up over time.
As the toxins are expelled from your body you may experience some common detox symptoms such as fatigue, headaches and lose bowels.
It is fine to keep taking your nutrient support during this process, but make sure you always take them as instructed and be sure to drink plenty of water. Reducing the capsule serving to half the recommended number can also help.
